Rebooted "Top Thrill" coaster closed for modifications

• Cedar Point idled its rebooted coaster indefinitely Sunday citing “a mechanical modification to the ride’s vehicles.”
• The park said it could not “confirm a reopening date” but would provide updates about the “extended closure".
• Top Thrill 2 made its public debut when Cedar Point opened for the season May 4.

• It will bring in $30M annually for the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences through June, 2033.
• The new agreement replaces the old agreement, created in 2015, that had ProMedica paying the university $40M per year.
