Fire-Rescue responded to structure fire last week

  • Sheridan Fire-Rescue Engine 2 arrived on scene at 5:59 p.m. to a single story, single family home presenting a large amount of fire from the attached garage and rear half of the home.
  • Engine 2’s crew established a water supply and deployed multiple preconnected hand lines to initiate fire attack, starting on the exterior to keep the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
  • When additional resources arrived on scene, crews began making entry inside the structure to extinguish fire and perform a search for occupants or pets.
